Hi Everyone,
I'm Meteorologist Stacey Sawyer from News Channel 7 Today and News Channel 7 at noon.  I am new to the world of blogging so here goes.
I have been here in Panama City for about a year now and love it.  We recently changed the format of the morning show and if you have any comments or suggestion for the weather segment of the morning show I would love to hear them or read them as the case may be.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and we'll talk soon.

Stacey, We miss you on KRON TV Channel 4 in San Francisco, Since you have left, I can't watch the news now. You are a fabulous Meteorologist. San Francisco's lost is Panama City's gain!

Your forcast Barometer presure,is that presure @ your station or sea level? Also I have Eco-Celli barometer,I live @ 125ft above sea level, the calabration instructions (o.o3" for every 25"above sea level>125/25=5*0.03=.15)the instructions tells me to WITHDRAW fluid(red)from barometer for correct calabration,is this correct? It seems to me that would show a HIGER preasure!Should I not instead ADD fluid to show a lower preasure reading of .15" instead of 29.92 to 29.77 for my allatude of 125'above sea level. If I WITHDRAW fluid it will show 30.07" Thanks Dave

Should people plant by the moon or the Farmer's Almanac? Where is Venus in the evening and morning sky this week? How does Punxsutawney Phil know when it's groundhog day? How often do local trees pollinate each spring? If a huricane goes from east to west across the top of the Gulf, which side are the strongest winds on? Will rock and roll ruin Rockmaninoff?

Good Morning Stacey; just want you to know that I truly enjoy your take on the weather. I would like to see something on good planting times for above ground and root crops if possible. Spring gardening time is quickly approaching us. I want to plant; however, I am unsure of the signs and what they mean concerning crops. Whether you are able to provide this info or not, I continue to wish the best for you and your position with the WJHG family. Thank you.

Stacey: Why when you do the weather updates, do you either not tell us what the current temperature is, or have it on the screen? I think this is something everyone might want to know at that moment. Thanks

My family just arrived in town for the holidays. I haven't been here at this time of year for awhile, and I don't remember it being this windy. Is this normal for this time of year??? I have noticed many houses along the beach front with sand drifts covering doors and windows, we even saw a gentleman digging out a boat. I was just wondering if this is typical for this time of year. Any info would be appreciated. Dispite the wind, we love being back on PCB.

6 inches of snow here. Crazy times.

The weather is often so different on the Bay than reported from the airport. It would be great if you could report actual conditions from the waterfront. For instance today we experienced wind speeds of consistantly over 40 mph including gusts of 51 & 54 as recorded on our weather station.
