On Saturday, December 6th, 2008, the Panama City Jaycees’ annual Christmas Parade will be held on Harrison Ave in downtown Panama City beginning at 6:00pm.
Due to the parade there will be special parking regulations and street closures of which the motoring public needs to be aware.
The parade will begin from the Civic Center/Panama City Marina and travel north to 13th Street. It will then divert east to Tommy Oliver Stadium. Alternate routes traveling north and south will be via Grace and Jenks Avenue to the west and Magnolia Avenue to the east.
Those traveling east and west should expect temporary delays during the course of the parade. There will be NO PARKING on Harrison Ave south of 15th St after 4:00pm.
Any vehicles parked on Harrison Ave after 4:00pm will be towed at the owner’s expense. If your vehicle has been towed, you may contact (850) 872-3112 to obtain towing information.

New this year, "Klothes for Kids" is doing on-site registration at places like Girls Inc. and the Boys and Girls Club. That makes it even easier for families to get the help they need.
