As part of Prevent Child Abuse Florida’s Winds of Change campaign, Early Education and Care’s Head Start Policy Council is hosting a mini-conference to educate parents on healthy child development practices.

The “It’s Your Turn to Raise the Leaders of Tomorrow” mini-conference will feature sessions on how to identify and prevent child abuse and non-violent parenting strategies for the participants.

During the mini-conference, attendees’ children will participate in an Easter egg hunt, egg decorating activity and exploration of the Junior Museum.

Approximately 50 adults and 100 children are expected to attend.
