Father’s Day is just around the corner and if you haven't found dad the perfect gift, you've still got time. But what is the perfect gift? NewsChannel 7’s Nicole Morten shares some good ideas in this afternoon’s segment of Nicole Wants to Know.

I have to admit I am a daddy's girl and when Father’s Day rolls around, I always put forth the extra effort for a thoughtful gift so that I can make my dad feel special. So if you're like me, finding the perfect gift isn't easy…so I’ve got a few ideas that might help.

Sunday is Father's Day and it's a time to say thanks to dad for all the things he's done to shape your life. Shopping for him can be tricky; fortunately local stores have a handful of Father's Day deals you don't want to miss.

“We have some really exciting specials going on right now, one is called, Adventures of the Sea,” said Counts-Oakes Resort President, Andy Phillips. “If you book three nights you get a full day of a Pontoon boat rental from Adventures of the Sea..."

Hombre Golf Club GM, Dan McGrath tells NewsChannel 7, "Were running a special for fathers, either a father playing with a son or a daughter…golfers will be pay a total cost of $119 for a green-fee and cart-fee, hats, and a sleeve of golf balls."

For instance if dad likes to read-- a book might do the trick, or how about a nice pair of sunglasses? But for some things aren't the best way to say I love you.

Gary Griffith says the perfect Father's Day gift for him is spending time with his family.

"Madison is really the perfect gift,” said Griffith. “Just being able to have her around and spend time with her, I don't really care for anything else."

Jerry Simons and his family took a vacation this Father's Day and it was the ride of a lifetime.

"The helicopter ride was really nice, we went up there yesterday, and it was really enjoyable, it really was..." said Simons, a father, vacationing from Tennessee.

If you still don't know what to get dad, just remember...a picture is worth a thousand words.

Father & Owner, Pier Artworks, Jim Baird, "It really doesn't take much, we as fathers' don't expect it...but just something showing you care, a picture, a card, anything, just saying I remember..."

Whether its playing a round of golf or relaxing on the beach just remember--this Father's Day, let dad know just how much you really care.

Most retail locations offer Father’s Day discounts, however, here are a list of places I got a chance to check out.

Beer, steak, smokin' hot grill. That's all it takes. Not complicated at all.

I got that sony reader for myself and can't get my hands off of it!! im addicted to it. You can download just about anything and surprisingly enough its not hard to read, considering its a digital book. Its almost easier to read than a regular book.
