The University of Florida / IFAS Bay County Extension will conduct a series of classes to help people with type 2 diabetes control their blood sugar.
The program will include eight classes taught by qualified educators and health professionals. Nutrition consultations with a registered dietician and blood pressure measurements are included.
Classes will be held beginning Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bay County Extension Office located at 2728 E. 14th St. in the former Cedar Grove City Hall building.
If you have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, are at least 21 years old and want more information about eligibility for the classes, please call the Extension office at 784-6105 by Sept. 1.
There is a $75 registration fee for the classes that includes program materials and services.
