Baby Lemurs and Baby Kangaroos Are Back at Zoo World

Summer camps are back at Zoo World, and a new batch of visitors are here to greet them.

For the second year in a row, the lemur and baby joey encounters are back at Zoo World on Front Beach Road.

You can enter into their cages with zoo workers and literally get a hands on education with both species.

Zoo World obtains these babies on loan from other zoos and habitats for the summer season to help raise them and get them socialized with the general public and other animals.

Education Director Stephanie Sinnett says they are more than happy to assist in the training as these cute creatures will grow up to serve as great ambassadors for their species in other facilities across the country.

Zoo World is taking donations in the form of baby and toddler toys and milk for all the cute babies. If you would like to help them out be sure to call Zoo World at 850-230-4839 or visit their website,
