Millville Elementary Holds Truck Day

Students at Millville Elementary enjoyed their Halloween with a special treat Friday. With lots of help from the local community, Millville teachers put on their annual Truck Day.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office and Panama City Fire Department showed off their work vehicles to the students. Gulf Power and the City of Panama City also brought out their trucks for display.

All of the students seemed to have a favorite truck.

"I like all the trucks. It looks very fun, but I just wish I could ride on one of those trucks," said Jacob Huft, a Millville Elementary student.

"The tractor. No, the Gulf Power Truck, because it goes up really high and looks like a roller coaster!" said Anyssa Williams, a Millville Elementary student.

Millville's principal, Ann Walsingham, says the students participated in educational activities along with the fun.
