Bay County elected a new school superintendent, which has created a vacancy.

This afternoon Bay County's Superintendent-elect Bill Husfelt announced his replacement for the principal's job at Mosely High School.

Husfelt introduced Sandy Harrison during a pep rally for Mosley's big football game tonight with Rutherford. Harrison is currently the principal at Bozeman Learning Center. She says the job brings her career full-circle.

She and both her sons are Mosely alumni.

Sandy Harrison, Appointed Mosley Principal, said, "I'm looking forward to the challenge and hopefully going to maintain the good things that have gone on and uh create some more good things."

Harrison's appointment to the job still has to be approved by the Bay County School Board at the end of the month.

It is so good to see a fellow high school alumnus do so well. My best wishes for a job well done, Sandy! You make Mosley High 1976 graduates feel very proud and honored!
