Big Changes Underway For Bay County Schools

Big changes are expected for Bay County Schools, as the district tries to cut $11 to $16 million from its budget.

School leaders are holding three workshops this week, on proposed closing and repurposing of some Bay County Schools.

The first meeting is for Millville elementary. The meeting will be held in the school's multi-purpose room from 5:30 to 7 tonight.

Tuesday night's workshop will be at 5:30 in the cafeteria at Haney technical center. The last workshop is at 5:30 Thursday, in the cafeteria of Margaret k. Lewis School.
