Tom P. Haney Technical Center’s Automotive Service Technology program has been selected as one of the top twenty finalists for the Tomorrow’s Technician/Chicago Pneumatic School of the year.
More than 170 entrants nominated more than 70 different high schools, technical schools and colleges. Reaching the Top 20 makes Haney’s Automotive Program a member of an elite group of automotive educators.
Sandra Davis, Director of Haney, stated: “Haney automotive teachers are well trained and provide a wonderful opportunity for students who want to work in the auto industry. This is an excellent workforce training program for Bay County. I am proud of our teachers, students and business community partners who support this training and have made this recognition possible.”
This is the second year that Haney has achieved this honor and recognition. Haney’s Auto training program is nationally certified as an NATEF training center and also provides coursework and testing for ASE credentials.
