Bay county parents will have a chance to get answers to their questions about the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test, or FCAT. Bay District School officials are holding two of what they're calling FCAT chats.

Superintendent Bill Husfelt and the FCAT Coordinator Camilla Hudson will meet with parents to provide information about the test results, and clear-up any confusion or frustration parents might have. This is the first time the school district has offered a forum like this.

"With the changes in FCAT, with the achievement levels being higher, with the writing scores being a little frustrating, we thought it'd be a great time to allow parents to come ask questions and gather to get more information," Hudson said.

The first FCAT chat is next Monday at 6pm in Rutherford High School's auditorium. The second is the following Monday at 6, in the Arnold High School Auditorium.
