Shelly Campbell joined WJHG as the Jackson County Bureau reporter in January 2017.
Before joining Newschannel 7, she interned at WESH 2 News, the NBC affiliate in Orlando. She graduated in December 2016 from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television and a minor in Political Science.
While at UCF, she worked as a reporter for UCF Knightly News. She covered several political rallies during the 2016 election season including visits by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Marco Rubio, to name a few.
When she’s not working, you can find Shelly visiting with family, watching Hallmark movies, or taking a nap.
She grew up in Crestview, so she’s no stranger to northwest Florida. She’s excited to start her career in an area she considers home.
If you see her, say hi! You can reach her by email, Facebook, or Twitter.
