WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A suspect wanted for a fatal shooting in Alabama was caught in Walton County Sunday.
According to Walton County Sheriff's Deputies, the sheriff's office was called in to assist several Alabama law enforcement agency to find a suspect wanted in a shooting in Florala.
Deputies say Phillip Parker, 24, was identified as the suspect. Authorities say he shot another person in the parking lot of the Huddle House in Florala.
Deputies say a local heard the description of Parker on the radio and reported a tip. They say that tip led them to Parker, who was traveling on Highway 85 in Walton County towards Alabama. Authorities conducted a traffic stop and arrested Parker.
Parker is being held on a $750,000 bond.
