BCSO: Man wanted on nine warrants, arrested on drug-related charges

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man who had nine warrants out for his arrest is now behind bars... for a different reason.

Bay County Sheriff's officials say a deputy stopped Robert Donelson, 34, while he was driving Saturday, and Donelson took off running.

They say deputies caught Donelson and searched his vehicle where they found meth, a gun, and more than $4,000 in cash.

He's now facing all the charges his warrants were for, as well as charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
