BCSO on Dorthy Yarborough case: No evidence of foul play

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG-WECP) -- The Bay County Sheriff's Office says they can't find any evidence to prove there was foul play in an investigation of an elderly woman's death in January.

On January 17th, Dorthy Yarborough was found dead by a family member in her Callaway home.

The case was originally being worked as a homicide and the Bay County Sheriff's Office had a person of interest.

The medical examiner's office in January concluded her death was not from natural causes.

Officials say they concluded Yarborough's death was natural, and the person of interest was eliminated quickly, as there was no evidence to tie that person to foul play.
