PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Panama City Marina Civic Center can seat a couple thousand people, and it's a perfect venue for concerts.
Paris got a backstage pass where the music is just as good, but much more up close and personal.
The Backstage Pass Concert Series kicks off Friday at 6:30 p.m. with some amazing local bands, like The Krickets and The HornStew. The event runs every Friday night through August and September.
The stage is set up on the Marina Civic Center's stage, but the audience also sits up there with the band.
Tickets are $5 at the door, and the proceeds will go back to the Bay Arts Alliance, which supports art in education. The money helps bring elementary and middle school students to see free performances.
