BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The week has come for parents to see if their children made the grade.
Bay District Schools report cards will be available through Parent Portal for middle and high school students.
An IRIS alert made Tuesday reads:
"This is Bay District Schools with an important announcement regarding final grades for the 17/18 school year. Current grades are available in Parent Portal for all students and elementary report cards have been printed and are available at schools this week. We anticipate elementary FSA scores being released by the state before June 30th and they will be uploaded to Parent Portal immediately. Secondary report cards will not be printed until the state releases end-of-course exam results on, or before, June 30th. At that time, paper report cards will be printed and Parent Portal will be updated.
This is also a reminder to please make sure your student’s address in Parent Portal is updated. If a change is needed, please make the change and then follow through to complete the update by bringing two proofs of address to your child’s school. The address update is not complete until the proofs of address have been verified by an employee at your child’s school. Correct addresses are critical for determining accurate school zones and transportation needs.
Our school campuses are open Monday-Thursday in the summer and someone in the office will be happy to help you with report cards, Parent Portal or any other questions. Thank you for your continued support and we hope you have a fantastic summer. "
Sharon Michalik, the Director of Communications for Bay District Schools, said, "They'll be uploaded immediately to Parent Portal. We'll print those report cards and distribute them as we normally do, so we just wanted parents to know that they have access to everything we have right now and as we have access to more, they will have access to more."
