Burglary and home invasion in Cottondale

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Early Thursday morning Jackson County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call in Cottondale regarding a burglary and home invasion.

The suspects are described as two white males and one black male. All three were wearing jeans and dark hoodies.

Police said one white male was wearing a blue hat with a red bandana covering his face, and is around 5'10". The black male was around 6'1" and wore a blue bandana around his face. They say the third suspect stayed off to the side but was seen wearing a bandana on his face.

According to police, the suspects kicked open the door and demanded money or drugs.

They said the suspects then left the residence with one white male armed with a nickel-plated semi-automatic and the black male with a revolver.

Dog units were called to the scene but were unable to find the suspect's tracks.
