Check presented to Bay District School Board for Tommy Oliver track

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Bay District Schools and half-cent sales tax project nearing completion received additional help.

Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki presented a check for $150,000 to the Bay District School Board during its meeting Tuesday afternoon.

The money will go toward Tommy Oliver Stadium's track at Bay High School.

The track will be named after longtime high school coach Gary Terrell. The stadium is set to open this spring.
