Christmas Forecast

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG) - Merry Christmas Eve! Our day started out gloomy, but as the day moved on the clouds moved out! This trend will continue throughout the overnight hours. Our winds will also shift out of the north, and pick up, allowing temperatures to drop into the mid 30s inland, low 40s along the coast. Our wind chill will knock about five degrees off our air temperatures.

You couldn't ask Santa for a better Christmas Day! Highs will be in the low to mid 50s sunny skies. Our wind will be out of the north at around 10-15mph, so we will have a chilly breeze all day long.

Our skies will once again fill up with clouds by mid-week as another cold front will move over our area. It will bring some scattered showers Wednesday and into Thursday.

Our New Years Eve looks a bit rainy for the afternoon hours. I do think the rain will die down for our evening plans, but some isolated showers cannot be ruled out.

Merry Christmas everyone!
