PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two months ago NewsChannel 7's Samantha Read brought us the story of Jenna Stewart, a local four-year-old who's been battling a rare bone disease. Her final surgery is approaching that will determine the fate of her leg.

When we first met Jenna she told us she's found comfort from watching Chuck Norris cartoons and that there would be no greater gift for Christmas than to meet her "super hero."

"I'm sure he gets requests like this multiple times a year," said Hope Stewart, Jenna's mom.

While that is true, on Tuesday, inside of the Stewart's family home, there was a special video message waiting for a special girl.

"Who do you want to meet?" asked Jenna's dad Adam.
"Chuck Norris Karate Kommando," Jenna answered.

"Last night my phone beeped and I had a video message on my phone from Chuck Norris," said Hope. "He was saying he had seen the earlier story that you all had did on Jenna."

"Do you know who that is?" asked Jenna's dad while he bringing up the video message for her to watch.
"It's Chuck Norris," she answered.

In that moment Jenna's dreams became a reality.

"Hi Jenna, I saw you on television and I want to thank you for allowing me to be your hero," says Chuck Norris on the video.

"Thank you for being my hero Chuck," says Jenna as she's watching

"But I got to tell you a secret. After watching you on television and seeing the battle you are facing, you are my hero," says Chuck Norris.

"I think we both cried," said Hope."It was emotional we were very surprised and just thrilled."

The video message gets better by the second.

"I've got to meet you," says Norris.

"Chuck Norris Wants to meet you," said Adam to Jenna.

"I get to meet Chuck Norris!" screamed Jenna.

Within the last 24 hours the Stewarts' say they've watched the video hundreds of times and now that Jenna's seen it she can't put the phone down either.

"I'm going to count down the days to see him," she says.

Jenna says she'll be practicing her karate moves to show her idol once they meet. He too says he's awaiting the day he meets his favorite super hero, Jenna Stewart.

"In the mean time, I'll be praying for you. Your friend, Chuck Norris," he said.
"Thank you for praying for me," says Jenna.

"Dreams really do come true. We can't say thank you enough," said Hope.

According to Chuck Norris, he's been out of the country with his family for the last few months and plans on returning in mid-February. He says he plans on getting acquainted with Jenna and her family and bringing along his own when they meet.
