Cuban "All-Star" band makes Panama City final tour stop

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - One of the most well-known bands in Cuba is making Panama City their final stop on their first-ever American tour.

The Havana Cuba All-Stars will perform Friday, December 2, at the Marina Civic Center as their last show. The band was formed over two decades ago and is comprised of a dozen members. It features the country's greatest and most prominent musicians. They'll return to Cuba in three days, in the week following Fidel Castro's death. One member spoke out about it.

"I'm not very concerned with it because these things in life go on, you know?" said Michel Padron, one of the band's trumpet players. "A person can pass on every day so. I prefer to be focused in what will be the next tour we will do."
