WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car accident left part of Interstate 10 shut down for more than an hour Saturday night.
Troopers said the driver of a Ford F-150, with two passengers inside, was headed east on I-10 in Walton County.
At mile marker 71, officials said the driver of the truck attempted to switch lanes. That's when the front of the truck hit the rear of a Toyota Corolla.
As a result, troopers said the Corolla crashed into a concrete barrier and the truck rolled over onto its passenger side when the driver of the truck over corrected.
We're told the driver and passengers of the truck were taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Corolla was uninjured.
