FHP: Panama City Beach man backs into school bus with kids on board

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Panama City Beach man is facing charges after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say he backed into a school bus Thursday afternoon.

Troopers say Raul Hernandez, 29, was backing a van out of a driveway on Laird Street in Panama City Beach when he hit a school bus stopped on the road.

They say the back of Hernandez's van hit the front of the school bus, but the school bus didn't move during the crash.

Fourteen children were on board the school bus when the crash happened. Troopers say no one was injured.

Hernandez is charged with not having a valid driver's license and improper backing.
