Family-owned restaurant serves up Christmas tradition

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - One family-owned restaurant served hundreds of locals and visitors Christmas lunch and dinner.

Boar's Head on Front Beach Rd. in Panama City Beach continued its Christmas buffet tradition this year.

In their six years of serving on Christmas Day, the restaurant's owners say the employees are excited to come to work.

"It's a long day for us, but it's a profitable day for the employees," Barry Ross, II, on of the restaurant's co-owners, said. "This time of year, business is slow, so we have people asking to work. We've hired about 15 additional employees just for today."

Boar's Head also serves buffets on Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving. They're also accepting reservations for their new year's eve dinner.
