Good Monday morning everyone! And happy first day of spring!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar with clear skies.
We were seasonally cool to start with temperatures in the 40s inland and low 50s on the coast. But a beautiful sunny Morning Commute helped temps warm up fast.
Dew points are somewhat dry and comfy this morning, but winds shifting to the southwest this afternoon will start to increase a bit of humidity over the next couple days.
Your first day of Spring will be chalk full of spring-like conditions! Only a few clouds may pass through our skies today and temperatures under the sunshine will warm back up to the mid 70s on the coast and near 80 inland this afternoon.
Our overall pattern is a quiet one starting off the work week as high pressure builds in at the surface and aloft. Underneath this ridging pattern we'll see temperatures above average through the first half of the work week.
We'll stay mainly rain free all week with the exception of the end of the week where a few stray showers my try to bubble up as our ridge breaks down. However, our best chance of rain for the week ahead looks like it will show up for the first half of the weekend.
For today, mainly sunny skies with warm temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will show our temperatures on the warmer side of average through a majority of the week ahead, with our sunny streak continuing for the better part of the work week.
