FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two roads in Fort Walton Beach will be shut down at certain times while construction gets underway.
Northeast Hughes Street from Oregon Drive to Walton Drive will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 19th, through 4 p.m. Thursday, July 20th due to utility construction.
Starting on Thursday, July 20th, Northwest Holmes Boulevard will be the site of a drainage pipe repair project. The city asks that all vehicles and obstructions be removed from the right of way between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Motorists are asked to limit travel along this roadway as much as possible while the project is underway. The construction is expected to finish in 4-6 weeks.
