Four vehicle crash injures four in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE 02/09/2018 5:42 p.m.:

Three people were injured in a head-on crash involving four vehicles.

According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, Logan Rhodes was driving south on U.S. 331 and hit a vehicle driven by Andrew Partridge, 29. Troopers say Partridge's vehicle was stopped in traffic.

Troopers say the impact of that crash pushed Partridge's vehicle into the way of a vehicle driven by Lisa Pitts, 49. They say Pitt's vehicle traveled off the road and hit a tree.

Troopers say another car, driven by Kimberly Sanders, 54, hit Partridge's car, causing his car to spin.

They say Rhodes had no injuries, Partridge was taken to a local hospital for serious injuries, Pitts was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries, and Sanders was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Rhodes has been cited for careless driving.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on crash involving four vehicles.

FHP officials say they were dispatched just after 8 a.m. Friday morning to Highway 331 S and Site Road C-6 south of Rockhill Road. Walton Co. Fire Rescue and Walton County Sheriff's Office also responded to the call. Four injuries were reported.

Officials say the roadways are now back open.

FHP is investigating the incident.
