Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet morning on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar. But we are downright frigid outside! Temps started out in the 20s, but breezy winds from the north made it feel like the teens this morning!
We'll need to bundle up for the day with layers and maybe even include the gloves and face protection. Temps will be largely affected by the winds all day today. We'll keep a northerly breeze around 15mph through the day and that will keep our feels like temps in the teens and twenties this morning, barely cresting into the thirties this afternoon.
That breeze will finally start to back off heading into tonight. But this frigid air continues to filter south as high pressure is situated to our northwest. A developing low out of the East Coast of Florida may churn up enough lift tonight and into tomorrow around the Big Bend and east for the chance of some wintery precip tomorrow, snow/sleet/freezing rain. We'll largely miss out on any chance for the wintery mix, but we'll have a token chance for an early morning flake in our far eastern areas like Liberty and Franklin Counties tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, it's cold and dry weather lasting all week even as sunshine opens up in our skies. Temps will likely stay in the 40s for highs through the rest of the work week with morning lows in the 20s.
For today, mostly sunny skies with highs in the 40s but feels like temps at or below freezing for most of the day with breezy northerly winds. Your VIPIR 7 Day forecast will keep us downright cold for the rest of the work week.
