TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Congresswoman Gwen Graham made her final press conference in the state capital Monday.
There, she announced that during her term, her office had returned $2.5 million dollars to seniors, veterans and families of Northwest Florida.
Constituents spoke from experience about their issues being solved with the help of the democrat's office. They characterized her as authentic, transparent and truly interested in their concerns.
Afterward, Graham told NewsChannel 7 what she was most proud of:
"helping people in NW Florida and having that constituency service that lead every day with their hearts. Committed to whatever issue was brought to their attention. Committed to going the extra mile that was going to help the people back home."
Representative Graham says while the day was bittersweet, she said serving was "the honor of a lifetime."
