Low concentrations of red tide confirmed in Northwest Florida

NORTHWEST FLORIDA (WJHG/WECP) - Low concentrations of red tide have been confirmed in our area.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Wednesday, very low to low concentrations of Karenia brevis, the Florida red tide organism, were reported from Okaloosa to Bay Counties.

They say in Northwest Florida, reports of fish kills were received in and offshore Panama City Beach.
