Lynn Haven buildings and parks undergo renovations

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Some renovations coming to Lynn Haven could mean convenience and recreation for residents.

According to Michael White, Lynn Haven City Manager, City Hall and the surrounding buildings will be painted to appear more unified. These buildings include the Lynn Haven Police Department and the Lynn Haven Library.

He said Nation's Best Family Health Care next door to City Hall will also be turned into a service center, complete with drive thru windows, so citizens can complete tasks including paying bills.

The hope is to funnel some traffic City Hall sees into the new service center.

Updates will be coming to local parks as well.

"By the first of March, we should have the amphitheater stage put up over there, so whether concert series, we will be having a nice stage for them and I plan on having a special guest possibly to open up that stage," White said.

White said two splash pads will be coming to the Lynn Haven Sports Complex and Kinsaul Park. The hope is for those to be installed by the end of the school year.

He said the goal is for the City Hall renovations to be completed by the first week of January.
