Man charged for attacking nurses at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, a man visited Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for medical attention and left in handcuffs.

Officials said Keith Coleman, 32, was charged with aggravated battery after assaulting two nurses when they tried to help him.

According to law enforcement, Coleman began swinging at a nurse and then grabbed him by the neck, cutting off his airway for about ten seconds.

Coleman also faces a second battery charge for grabbing another nurse by the arm and pushing her into supply carts.
