Medical Monday: Heart health during the holidays

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Research shows that deaths from heart disease increase during the holidays. Cardiologist Dr. Don Davis from Gulf Coast Cardiology says heart related deaths increase about 5 percent during the holiday season. He says stress, travel, indulging in food and drinks, and ignoring symptoms can all factor into heart related illness.
