PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - In this week's Medical Monday, we talked to an expert from Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center about easing the patient experience.
Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center works to help patients with physical needs as well as emotional needs. Patient experience coordinators, like Tammy Dunaway, make it their job to ease the fears and anxiety of patients and their family members.
Dunaway says they act as a bridge between patients and the medical staff.
If you go into the hospital and are in need of a patient experience coordinator, you can just ask for one.
