Men pull Crestview man from fiery crash, victim in serious condition

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Troopers say a Crestview man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after his vehicle caught on fire.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the crash happened Tuesday night around 10:30 on U.S. Highway 90 near Camellia Avenue. They tell us Ivan Rios of Crestview was driving on Highway 90 when for some reason his vehicle drifted across the medium and hit a tree on the opposite side of the road.

Troopers say the vehicle caught fire, but Warren Fleeman of Freeport and Colby Bridges of Crestview was able to get Rios out of the vehicle.

Rios was reportedly life-flighted to an area hospital.
