Middle school student arrest after reportedly posting a threat to Snapchat

NICEVILLE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Oklaoosa County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a middle school student Thursday for sending a threat and having a gun as a minor.

Deputies say Robert Cameron Blalock, 15, posted a picture to Snapchat of a handgun with the message, "Cameron is about to go on a rampage."

Deputies responded to the Niceville home where they said he admitted to having a loaded revolver and rifle in his room.

Deputies say Blalock told them he posted the Snapchat message saying another student made him mad at school and he hoped that student would see it and be afraid.

Deputies say Blalock's mother had no idea he had the guns.
