Mobile boutique supports student's education fund

VERNON, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Bling Bling Blessings Mobile Boutique was at Vernon High School Tuesday and Wednesday.

It's just one of the ways the community is supporting VHS senior Dana Douglas, whose mother was killed in a car crash in December.

Students had the chance to shop during Jacket Hour, with 30 percent of the proceeds going to the Dana Douglas Education Fund.

"We just want to make sure everybody's happy and everything's going well and just... blessings," Bling Bling Blessings Mobile Boutique owner Marcinia Bryant said. "Bling Bling Blessings. That's what we're about."

School officials said the boutique raised $130 to go toward Dana's education fund.
