PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - If you're looking for some fun, family friendly events to celebrate the 4th of July, you're in luck. Here's a list of some of the events around the Panhandle.
Panama City Beach - The Star Spangled Spectacular begins at 9 p.m. on the 4th. There will be dueling fireworks from the City and County Piers.
Panama City - The Salute to Freedom event is at the Downtown Panama City Marina. There will be entertainment, food, and music starting at 2 p.m. The event will end with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Lynn Haven - Lynn Haven's Red, White and Blue Independence Day Celebration kicks off with a parade at 9 a.m. There will be activities at Sharon Sheffield Park from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The celebration continues with vendors and music at A.L. Kinsaul Park at 4 p.m. with fireworks at 9.
Apalachicola - The Independence Eve Celebration is at Riverfront Park on July 3rd. All the fun begins at 5 p.m. eastern. There will be live music, food, a parade, an ice cream social and a tribute to veterans. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. eastern.
Port St. Joe - The fireworks show begins at 10 p.m. eastern at the Port St. Joe Marina on the 4th.
Wewahitchka -The fireworks display will take place once the sun goes down at Lake Alice Park on the 4th.
Seaside - The Seaside Stars & Stripes Concert is at the Seaside Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd. On the 4th, you can enjoy the Victory Belles Concert at the Amphitheater, followed by the Seaside Fireworks Spectacular at 8:30 p.m.
Mexico Beach - You can enjoy the Mexico Beach Best Blast on the Beach Fourth of July Celebration on the 4th. It begins with the Sandy Shoes 5K Fun Run at 7 a.m. at Under the Palms Park. The free kid's fishing event will be at the Canal Docks from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Fireworks begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Mexico Beach City Pier. All times are central.
