MomsEveryday: Study reveals best and worst states for working moms

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - In a recently released WalletHub study, analysts compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia to see which states provide better resources and financial support for working moms. Some of the factors that were analyzed included median women's salary, female unemployment rate, daycare quality, and work-life balance.

Florida was ranked 24th when looking at all factors and was tied for second place with the District of Columbia for the lowest gender pay gap between men and women. However, the state ranked 42nd for work-life balance. This information seems to suggest that while Florida's moms don't have as much of a pay gap as those in other states, the work-life balance does suffer.
