PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - There was plenty to eat and drink at the first One Harrison Food and Wine Festival in downtown Panama City. The two-day festival featured more than 70 vendors. Clothing, art, food, and of course wine and craft beer were featured at the festival. Destination Panama City told us they hope more people will visit downtown Panama City to see what it has to offer.
"I think this is a great thing for Panama City we need to have more things such as this, wine festivals and food festivals. There are a lot of things out on the beach, this is something for Panama City," said Brian Price, the owner of Wine Knot Tapas Bar.
The festival was sold out and residents from all over Bay County came to see the local businesses of Downtown Panama City.
"I appreciate the development working on getting the downtown area better," said Kathy Owrey, a Panama City Beach resident.
Tomorrow at the One Harrison Food and Wine Festival the 2016 National Oyster Shucking Champion Honor Allen will be doing a live oyster shucking demonstration at 1:45 p.m.
