PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Some locals spent their Friday and Saturday wining and dining in downtown Panama City.
Saturday marked the final day of the "One Harrison Food + Wine Festival" at the Panama City Marina.
The sold-out event featured food and wine tastings, craft vendors, live music, and even an oyster-shucking presentation.
This was the two-day festival's first year and visitors said they hope to see it make a comeback next year.
One vendor said showcasing his artwork at the festival provided a different experience from other display opportunities.
"I think it's different because a lot of places I go to, is like, if I go just to an art show, people are there just to look at art, but coming to one here, people are kinda relaxed, wine relaxes them," Ricky Steele, an artist, said.
Zena Le and Colleen Duffy, festival guests, said they enjoyed being by the water and enjoying what Panama City has to offer.
"It's a win-win for everybody," Le said.
