Panama City man arrested after children found in road

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Panama City man is facing charges after deputies say two children were found in a street.

According to Bay County Sheriff's Office arrest records, Andrew Davis, 22, is charged with three counts of child neglect and possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies say they were told Thursday about two children, ages two and three years old, wandering in the roadway near Everitt Avenue and East 14th Court. When the children led deputies back to their home, deputies say Davis was sleeping and another child, less than a year old, was hanging half in and half out of a swing and over-heated.

When Davis was arrested, deputies reported finding Adderall on him.
