Panama City man arrested in connection with area armed burglaries

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Bay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man they believe is connected to multiple armed burglaries and associated crimes.

Deputies arrested Corey Gaddy, 39, Saturday.

Deputies say they responded to a home burglary on Howard Road in Panama City on February 1st. They say numerous things were taken, including firearms and a credit card. They say later that day the card was used at a gas station in Callaway. Deputies were able to get video of Gaddy, but his identity was unknown then.

February 9th deputies responded to a burglary at a hair salon on Tyndall Parkway. They say about $700 dollars in hair products and cash were taken. Deputies say they saw a maroon colored minivan in security video parked by the business while the burglary took place. Later that day they say another home burglary happened on Howard Road. Deputies say electronics, jewelry, and firearms were taken. They say a maroon minivan was in the area at the same time as that burglary as well.

Deputies say the minivan was registered to Gaddy. They say his photo matched they video from the gas station after the first burglary.

Gaddy was arrested on multiple charges including armed burglary and dealing in stolen property.
