Police Identify female bicyclist hit and killed on Highway 98

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG-WECP) -- Panama City police have identified the woman who was killed after she crossed Highway 98 on her bicycle and was hit by a truck on July 5.

According to the incident report, 36 year-old Shaunte Marie Johnson was struck around 8:30 p.m. by a Chevy Pick Up driven by 23 year-old James Jared Toole.

The incident occurred in front of the Kangaroo Express gas station on Highway 98 and closed part of the road.
