Powerball ticket worth $2 million sold in Jackson County

MARIANNA, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Virginia woman has claimed a $2 million Powerball prize in the Florida Lottery from a ticket sold in Jackson County.

According to a news release from the Florida Lottery, Diane Boswell, 58, of Sutherland, Virginia, claimed a $2 million prize from the Powerball drawing held on June 3. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Powerball.

Boswell purchased her winning ticket from Pilot Travel Center at 2209 U.S. Highway 71 in Marianna. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Powerball ticket.

The numbers for the June 3 drawing, which had a jackpot of $338 million were 3-9-21-41-54. The red Powerball number was 25. No one matched all five numbers and the Powerball from that drawing.
