Good Thursday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar this morning despite high cloud cover passing overhead.
We were not as cold as yesterday morning, with most waking up in the 30s and 40s north of the bays, near 50 on the coast. Most of us were about 10 to 15 degrees warmer this morning than compared to yesterday morning's frigid start. But you'll still need a jacket for the morning commute.
We'll be much more mild this afternoon, however, and with temperatures in the upper 60s with mainly sunny skies, you'll be able to hang that jacket up!
Another weak cold front will head south tonight into tomorrow. But with little forcing for lift in the atmosphere we'll likely only just be seeing more clouds cruise our skies in combination with the subtropical jet. A stray shower may be possible Southeast of Panama City and around the Forgotten Coast. Temperatures will not fluctuate much behind the front, but in combination with a few more clouds cruising our skies tomorrow, temps may only reach the low 60s.
Otherwise, we'll wait for better rain chances to head our way by the end of the day on Sunday and into early next week.
For today, mostly to partly sunny skies with more seasonal afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s. Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will feature a few more relatively quite days, but more clouds cruising by and temperatures closer to seasonal in the 60s.
