Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar once again with more clear skies and sunshine expected today.
Temperatures were very interesting this morning hinging on who had seen the easterly wind pick up overnight. If you're to the east or southeast of Panama City to Blountstown, you've likely seen your temps warm up since midnight. However everyone else is downright cold once again in the 30s north of the bays and across the I-10 Corridor.
We'll all need the jackets out the door regardless, but a more mild day is expected. We sit at the base of a ridge now shifting off the Mid-Atlantic coast, and that's redirecting our winds in from the east, bringing in a little more mild of an air mass. Temperatures this afternoon will warm up to the mid 70s, and we may even go warmer tomorrow.
While a few more clouds will increase over the mid to late week, temperatures will still remain above average. Another cold front is looking to move in by the end of the work week and on into the weekend which could string out a rain chance through Friday and Saturday.
But it doesn't look like much more than a nuisance shower at this point.
For today, abundant sunshine with mild afternoon highs in the mid 70s. Your VIPIR 7 Day forecast will see more sunshine ahead tomorrow with a few more clouds mid to late week and temperatures becoming more mild.
