Two men accused of paying a juvenile for sex

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two men are facing charges after a minor said they paid her for sex. Investigators say they learned one of the suspect also victimized another minor.

Panama City police say they were investigating another unrelated case when the girl told them she had been having sex with two adult men. The police turned the case over to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

Contact was made with the victim and an interview was done by the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center. The victim said Michael Hunt, aka Miguel Cassaderea, 53, originally offered her a job at his business called Polecats. She says they began a sexual relationship after that.

Investigators say they spoke with a witness who told them Hunt would come to the victim's home almost daily to pick her up. The victim said they would drive to an apartment parking lot and have sex and Hunt would pay her.

Michael Hunt is a registered sex offender who has had similar charges in the past.

Investigators say they spoke with Hunt, who denied knowing the victim. Hunt was arrested Wednesday and charged with unlawful sexual acts with certain minors.

Also during the interview with GCCAC, the victim told them about a barber at a barbershop in the Panama City Mall. She said Jervonte Johns, 24, gave her a pill that made her feel intoxicated, then drove her in his car to an isolated area and forced her to engage in a sexual act. She said he also paid her.

Another investigator who was aware of this case says Johns was a suspect he had tried to locate and identify. In this separate case, the victim, also a minor, said she had sex with a man she only knew as Jervonte who was a barber.

Johns was arrested Thursday. He's charged with unlawful sexual acts with a minor.
