Two people face charges after supposedly offering meth to minor

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Two people are facing charges after they reportedly let a minor smoke meth with them.

According to arrest reports, Anna Vest, 39, and Christopher Lewis, 36, were arrested Monday by the Bay County Sheriff's Office for child abuse without great harm.

Arrest reports say the minor went to Vest and Lewis' home on Harvey Street in Panama City and while there she went into the bedroom to charge her cell phone. The victim claims Vest then offered her a "hit" from a glass pipe and Lewis encouraged her to try it.

According to the victim, she smoked the meth, then a cigarette, then more meth.

The victim told deputies she went to her probation appointment Monday and failed the drug test.

A search warrant was obtained and deputies say they found meth pipes, a marijuana pipe, bags full of meth, and two baggies of marijuana.
